Conversation with God

I asked God, "What surprises you most about mankind?"

ON NOT GIVING UP

Failed at something ? Good.
Failed again? Excellent.
You are a lucky devil you know,
to be learning from the best teacher in the whole world.
Because that's what failure really is.
A teacher.
A rung in the ladder.
A Clever device to test your talent,
your courage, your thirst for success.
And if you persevere, and push,
and hang on long enough, and grit your teeth,
and still manage to smile,
you'll bask in the sunshine.
What's more, you'll sleep well at night.

Try and Discover All that You can be!

There is a funny old saying, one that says,
"if you don't ride a bicycle you don't fall off !"
What it means to say, of course is
if you do put a lot of energy into something
you are bound to make mistakes;
and if you take lot of RISKS,
you are bound to tumble here and there.
But remember this; that if you persist,
you will arrive at the destination of your choice.
And if you do occasionally fall in the process,
you'll learn much more than if you don't.
So try, and do, and discover all that you can be.

MY PRAYER

I asked for strength and
God gave me difficulties to make me strong

I asked for wisdom and
God gave me problems to solve

I asked for prosperity and
God gave me brawn and brain to work

I asked for courage and
God gave dangers to overcome

I asked for love and
God gave me troubled people to help

I asked for favors and
God gave me opportunities

I received nothing I wanted
I received everything I needed

My prayer has been answered
